Congratulations to Chelsea Collins on being named the 2015-2016 New Jersey Teacher of the Year! Chelsea is a graduate of the EECE department’s Elementary MAT program and currently teaches 6th grade English in the Pilesgrove Regional School District. Among her other accomplishments, Chelsea co-authored a feature article on education expert Steve Barkley’s blog and presented best practices at the Future Educator’s Association Conference and the Regional Achievement Center’s Literacy Workshop. Her classroom was on NJTV’s “Classroom Close Up”, and she was chosen to serve on two New Jersey Department of Education panels to evaluate statewide policy.
